Did you know, there are 365 do not fear verses in the Bible! That's one for every single day of the year. There's a reason for that. God knew that in this life we would be riddled with fear, anxiety, worry and stress. He knew we would spend time freaking out about the little things and losing our mind over the big things. He knew that we needed somewhere to go when the weight of the world piles up on our shoulders. He also knew we would forget, I guess that's why there's one for each day!
There's a song by one of my current favourite artists, Anna Golden called Take it to Jesus. Honestly if you haven't already heard it, you need to! The lyrics say:
'When your questions don't have answers and you just can't understand it,
When your mind just won't stop running and the tears just keep on coming.
You don't have to explain it, He hears you before you can speak
Come with me, let's take it to Jesus'
So often as Christians we spend time stressing and worrying over things instead of doing the one thing Jesus asks us to do, take it to Him! Whatever weight you are carrying right now, take it to Jesus!
